The City Below

This was a personal illustration that I did back before I had no time left to myself. Part of the exercise of this was to figure out what makes things look "real," especially faces and bodies. I know that there's more to art than trying to duplicate what you see, but there's also something to be said for learning how to make stuff look believable.

I categorized this as mixed media because I didn't paint the city in the background. It's manipulated from a photograph of Chicago from Wikipedia.

Yes, the reference for the man was a photo of RDJ.
